Working with cement … would this work?
I would like to make a mock-up of a “mountain” out of Styrofoam to use with our model railroad. I’m wondering if it would be feasible to coat the foam with some of that ready-mix cement you can get in big bags at home improvement stores. I’d like the completed project to be durable. Weight is not a consideration.
Would it adhere to the styrofoam? How much thickness would you need to apply to get the final project to feel rigid to the touch and not “give” when you press on it? How much drying time would be required?
Will this work at all?
Thanks for your help! I’ve never worked with this stuff before.
of course it will work. I’ve done it before so I know for a fact it will.
