HO scale connectivity issue question?

I own a composition Bachman, I had the set for a couple of years. His two areas of the track not have good connectivity to the train. The train stops in these areas or stops completely. The track is the song of EZ. Also, the areas with poor appear to be acourring in the same areas. Clean the track with approved cleaning products only gives very temporary.

I had the same problem. Do you use only one type track cleaner, such as rubber or track cleaning fluid, or use both? Probably best to use both. Knowing that used Bachmann EZ track, probably will not use rail joiners. Since you have had the train set for a couple of years, you should probably invest in some rail joiners and just put them in track anyway because Nickel-Silver/steel wear over time depending on usage.
