My name in Japanese & some other question?

Hey peeps!

1.My name is Nigee and i want to know what is my name in Japanese, Romanji, Kanji etc. Like how do you write my name in japanese and how do you pronounce it.

2. I want to start a railroading hobby and i’m just 15 with not much money at hand. So far, i’ve got &20 saved and i want to know where i can get the starter set( or Whatever you call it ) for those model trains that you can control the speed etc. Preferably a HO or N scale train.
If anyone of you know where i can get it at a cheap price ( its my first time so i’ll get a cheap one first ) please please tell me where i can get it. Dont tell me america or something. In Singapore erm.. so if you need any information, just snd me a message thanks.

I can’t help you with the Japanese… even after 6 months there I could never seem to grasp Kanji.

Regarding Model Railroading though… I’m unaware of ANY train-set that sells for less than $85 USD. You’re in Singapore ? I did several searches and couldn’t find a hobby-shop !! Though I KNOW there was ONE in the Furama Singapore Shopping Center because I bought a model there during a port stop in 1996.

Since you’re 15 and still have nimble fingers and sharp eyes, I would recommend N-scale… you can have twice as much Railroad in the same space as an HO-scale layout.

Just for research, here are a few of the railroading retail sites I use:

http://www.athearn.com/

http://www.deluxeinnovations.com/

http://www.atlasrr.com/default.htm

Sadly, again, I couldn’t find anything specific to Singapore… I’ll keep checking though
