How I can build an HO scale model train operating coal conveyor to feed a coal drink?
Hello, recently got into HO scale model railroading. I would add the action of my design. I have already drink brand realistic coal (http://www.hobbylinc.com/htm/lif/lif8306.htm) and was thinking of running a conveyor belt to feed so I would not have to fill all the time. I've never tackled a project like this before, so any help at all would be great! thanks!
Try this: First, purchase of the belt [of course] then browse through catalogs RR model or websites to get a small electric motor. Connect the motor shaft to the conveyor belt and the wire to a switch on the control panel. If not, well at least I tried.

The design of model trains Ho is limited only by available space and the limits of imagination. The "design" refers the replica of a railroad and the scenery that passes through, which include buildings, landscapes, water features, bridges, railway stations, docks and reservoirs. There are thousands of accessories for model railways, with elements being added to meet request.
Some of these considerations in creating a design for Ho model trains are:
Height – Turn disposal Ho Train miniature on a high platform. You should be able to look back and change the points, road repair, add scenery and clean way without putting a pressure on your back. In addition, customers should not have to bend down to admire the details of the landscape street scenes and / or see the thumbnails in operation.
Space dedicated calendar – layout Ho model train based on space available. With limited capacity, will not be too complex. In addition, it is preferable placing the design that will not be on the road, not impede traffic flow and, ideally, you will not be moved.
Track Panel – A simple oval or figure-eight track may be all that small space capacity. Spaces larger drawing of the cross is a pleasure for there to be some skill required by the operator when it comes to monitor the engine.
Made man landscape features – There are some something exciting tunnels and bridges on a design model train locomotive pulling Ho Display cars and cars, cabooses and out of sight through a tunnel or a bridge by a realism that gives the railway system and the supply of varieties.
characteristics of the natural landscape – grass and fake trees add credibility to the provision of model trains Ho resin, plastic or corrugated glass can be used to recreate the effect of bright water. Small pumps are available for creating small waterfalls and fountains that simulate streams.
Outlook – Create the illusion of depth through the incorporation of a flight line of sight in the design of model trains HO. This also can be achieved by painting the back wall with a landscape that is a natural extension of the environment in three dimensions that have sculpted. The mountains and a lake in the distance under a blue sky, make a magnificent backdrop mural and effective.
Portability – If you must move your design to show that in just a museum, or school, you'll be happy if you've planned in advance so that we could easily disassembled, transported and reassembled.
One of the most fun aspects of the design process is research. From model railroading began in 1930, and captured in a big way United States in the 1950s, there are many scenes historical museums throughout the country. Include the coast of New England, towns operate Colorado-based mining, pastoral landscapes, urban landscapes and dirty. Is it fun to organize a trip around the ideas of research for Ho model train set.

Set lights to a power rail?
I have the ten poles of electric light to form the design HO scale, but do not know what fixing it or what else I need. Please help ASAP streetlights have cable connected to the bottom of each well
Usually have a brass screw in the bottom of each lamp. You need a cable of small arms, or buzzer the speaker cable and a source of supply. Split the cable and connect one piece on each side of the screw. Depending on the voltage of each lamp and the voltage of the layout, you can wire in series or in parallel. You'll need to drill a hole in the plate for presentation to the cables below. A simple stapler allows you to connect the cables underneath. Glue the bulbs in place or to make a stand that can sit ╰ ☆ ╮ Please remember to vote! ╰ ☆ ╮
