I want to buy a digital camera?
I have some formal photog training and a limited budget <$300. I also would like video capabilities too. What brands and models do you like/use/recommend?
Check out the $230 Canon Powershot SD1200IS ELPH compact digital camera [from Amazon.com] which is currently check rated by Consumer Reports [September '09 issue]. When set to “P,” “10M 3648X2736,” “Vivid” and video format “320X240 30 fps,” will generate “stunning” color still and home movies. And the built-in quality microphone is capable of recording concert music as well.
