railroads are boring model for you?

I have a layout at each scale, but i try and add a landscape, I get bored and stop. a layout of the 3×8 and my track is really allowing minimum radius 12 diesel wont wheel is a must now a day on a railroad. i really do not want to continue wasting money on that to tear it back up when I'm bored with it. What should I do or what have you done?

So, are you annoyed because you can not run the engine you want, or is it because of the limitations? Why not turn a small motor satisfy you? You may need to switch to a rail system Point-to-Point and "pretend" there is a long journey between the ends, then do operations at each end. Do you have a loop big enough to run continuously, or a stop-and-go setup seem too boring? Or are both boring for you? A small problem with the 3×8 as the landscape does not change much in this small space, even for N gauge. Have you considered a "modular" approach, which would allow you to temporarily increase your 3×8 to include other modules, and then you can demolish them to store more easily? There are many modular railroad club, using modules of 2×4 feet. You could do a bit of reach with your 3×8 in your room or where you have put in place (or is a problem that you can not set permanently, then you must keep a minimum for the removal of the landscape that gets boring?). Some people have a system available on board, around the border of their rooms, to accommodate a larger configuration as possible otherwise. You'll have to determine what can help you setup more "excitement" in your hobby, if you want to continue. Sometimes just be creative in operations and installation to be more interested. Naturally, model railroading takes much space, and if you do not have it, it can be boring … but if you love the hobby enough, you can find the means, a small point system point to a pattern of conservation, which will keep your interest for the long term, until you can get this ultimate configuration that you want. I did not even place now for a 4×8 configuration (And I own my own home is just too full to have room on time current). I can only recourse available to my club to make transactions. You may want to find a local club to join, to the same thing. Good luck! – The Gremlin Guy – involved in HO, N, Lionel 0-27, G, some TT, Z and a small gauge.
