You made the decision – which is buying a model train. But this is not exactly cheap, if you want to make the best choice. So Within three tips you should know before purchasing your first set of model trains.
Ready? Set? Then, "All aboard for the trip by the advice!
Tip 1: Space and scale
You can feel the approach of the train … but once you arrive, where to? Thus, the number one tip is to know how much space you have for your device.
His new train will be a "scale", which actually means, what is the size of the train. Also sometimes called "indicator" – they are used interchangeably.
Probably the scale HO most popular – small enough to fit on a relatively small but large enough to show good detail. But if space is a problem, try wide N, which should fit in most spaces.

A comprehensive training model tends to lack the extras associated with configurations of model trains, for example, the landscape. On the positive side, however, can be operational within minutes, because all you need is included.
Whether just bought a complete model train or piece by piece, you can add to that by buying the parts you want – extra cars, landscape, additional runway etc. Make sure you buy all the same scale!
Tip No. 3: Buying a miniature railway … or trains?
If you do not think you ever want to buy a second train, so do not worry about this section. But if you think you might might want to add another train model to your collection, keep reading.
When buying a new model, check and see if it is allowed to CDC. If yes, then you can run more than one train at a time on the slopes. Make ensure that your train DCC enabled to keep their options open for the future.
